Assistant Manager

Jimmy John’s – Fair Lakes, VA is looking to hire a highly energetic Assistant Manager with a drive to succeed and a willingness to take on the hard tasks for themselves. We are looking for managers with a killer work ethic and an awesome attitude! Jimmy John’s is unlike any other sandwich chain in the country because we specialize in super-fast, high-volume sandwich execution. Position Summary

The manager is responsible for all functions of the restaurant to ensure that impeccable customer service and high-quality products are delivered. They are responsible for the successful execution of fast, accurate sandwiches and world-class customer service while maintaining a clean, organized shift. There is huge potential to advance as you ROCK and the company grows!

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
*Ability to handle and resolve customer and employee issues
*Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations

Requirements
*Must have at least 6 months management experience in fast casual or quick serve restaurant or an Associate’s Degree in a related field
*Able to speak, read and write the English language fluently and clearly
*Have strong math abilities in addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages
*Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel)
*Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends as business dictates
*Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday
*Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record
