Scholarship Program

Sunday, March 1st - Friday, June 12th

The Board of Directors of the Fair Lakes League acknowledges the strong support that Fair Lakes’ residents and employees give to our local community. In recognition of this continued support, the Fair Lakes League will award three (3) $2,500 scholarships to Fair Lakes’ employees, residents, and/or their dependents.

Scholarship Applications Must Be Received in the Fair Lakes League Office Via Mail, Email, or Hand Delivery by 12:00 pm on FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026.

SCHOLARSHIP TYPES

Employee Scholarship:

  1. Applicant must be a current full or part-time employee of a company located within Fair Lakes. If the company has several locations, the employee must work full or part-time at the company’s Fair Lakes office. Proof of employment is required.
  2. Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree.

Resident Scholarship:

  1. Applicant must be a current resident of any Fair Lakes neighborhood that is a League member. Proof of residency is required. Member neighborhoods include: Arbors at Fair Lakes, Camden Fair Lakes, eaves Fair Lakes, Elan Condominiums, Enclave at Fair Lakes, Fair Lakes Condominiums, Fair Lakes Luxury, Fair Lakes Square, Fair Lakes Townhomes, Gates of Fair Lakes, North Lake, Stonecroft Condominiums, The Greens at Fair Lakes, Water’s Edge at Fair Lakes, Willow Oaks at Fair Lakes, Windsor at Fair Lakes, Windsor Oak Creek
  2. Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree.

Dependent Scholarship:

  1. Applicant must be a dependent of a full or part-time Fair Lakes employee, or a dependent of a current Fair Lakes resident (see above listing of eligible Fair Lakes’ neighborhoods). Proof of residency or employment within Fair Lakes of parent/guardian is required.
  2. Applicant must be pursuing his/her first undergraduate degree.

All Applicants:

  1. Provide proof of acceptance/enrollment at an accredited institution of higher learning for Fall 2026.
  2. Provide proof of employment or residency is required.
  3. Have a minimum academic standing of 3.2 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) or greater (current students).


APPLICATION PROCEDURES

For consideration for the 2026 Fair Lakes Scholarship, applicants must adhere to the following procedures:

  1. Applicant must submit:
    • A legibly printed application filled in completely.
    • A 1 to 2 page typed essay completed by applicant (topics provided)
    • An official copy of your transcript through the most recent semester or quarter verifying a minimum academic standing of 3.2 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) or greater (if current student).
    • Provide proof of acceptance/enrollment at a college or university for dependents or at a regional educational institution and provide proof of employment or residency within Fair Lakes (see eligibility requirements).
  2. The application packet must be received by the Fair Lakes League via mail or by hand delivery by 12:00 pm on FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  3. Applications that are incomplete will not be considered. Additional materials may not be submitted once the application is received in the League office.


ELIGIBILITY

  1. Provide proof of acceptance/enrollment at an accredited institution of higher learning for Fall 2026.
  2. Provide proof of employment or residency is required.
  3. Have a minimum academic standing of 3.2 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) or greater (current students)
  4. Those holding the following positions within the Fair Lakes League, as well as their dependents, are ineligible to apply for the Fair Lakes Scholarship: Board of Trustees members, Scholarship Judges, Fair Lakes League Property Manager.
  5. Prior recipients of the Fair Lakes Scholarship are not eligible for consideration for the 2026 scholarship offering.
  6. Employment and/or resident information will be verified for all finalists.
